Basic Info

Metluma is a doctor-led, technology-enabled women’s health company focused on supporting women through the life stage of peri-menopause, menopause and related mid-life health transitions.

We combine medical expertise, behavioural science and technology to help women understand their symptom load, access the right care, and stay well, productive and confident at work and in life.

Our proprietary 40-symptom assessment tool (UMA40), personalised care pathways (MPlan), wearable-integrated data, and Smart Health Community model enable early education, triage and evidence-based support before women reach crisis point.

Our model has been validated through research with Western Sydney University and the Digital Health CRC, and is built on a commitment to clinical rigour, behavioural change frameworks and measurable outcomes. We work with corporates, insurers, pharmacies, and health systems to provide scalable, preventative support that reduces health risk, improves quality of life, and delivers strong return on investment.

Metluma operates across Australia and is expanding internationally through partnerships in Portugal, LATAM, UK, EU and other regions where access to specialised mid-life women’s healthcare is limited.

We are open to finding a partner in UAE/GCC

Why work with us

The current model of care for women in mid-life is not working.

Many women spend years navigating symptoms without understanding what is happening to them. Many GPs and local providers are not adequately trained in peri-/menopause and genitourinary health. As a result, women are misdiagnosed, under-treated, or left to manage alone. This has significant personal, social and economic consequences — including women reducing hours, leaving the workforce, or experiencing preventable mental and physical health decline.

Metluma addresses this gap at scale.

We help organisations keep experienced women in the workforce, improve wellbeing, and reduce absenteeism, presenteeism and healthcare costs. Our corporate pilots demonstrate ROI of up to 12:1 through improved engagement, symptom management and care navigation.

For insurers and health systems, Metluma provides an evidence-based, data-driven way to intervene earlier, reduce downstream claims, and support members/patients with practical, preventative care that is currently missing from traditional pathways.

What sets Metluma apart from others in this space is that we are not a content platform, a coaching app, or a telehealth clinic.

We are a doctor-led, research-validated model that combines:

  • A proprietary 40-symptom clinical assessment (UMA40) that identifies what women are actually experiencing — not what is commonly assumed
  • Personalised care pathways (MPlan) grounded in behavioural science
  • Integration of wearable and lifestyle data to create a whole-person picture
  • A Smart Health Community model that blends education, data, and access to appropriate care
  • Measurable reporting and benchmarking for organisations, insurers and partners

We do not replace doctors — we enable women to have better conversations with them, and to access the right care sooner, armed with data and understanding.

Metluma is backed by clinical leadership, academic research, and a deep commitment to evidence. Our approach is preventative, scalable, and measurable — designed not just to support individual women, but to shift how systems, workplaces and health providers respond to mid-life women’s health.

Metluma is helping to change the pyramid of women’s health — starting earlier, educating sooner, and supporting women to stay healthy, confident and economically active through mid-life and beyond.
